The food of Chinta is based on the funky fusion of three
races (Malay, Indian and Chinese) that meet and mingle in Malaysia … If you
like Asian fusion place, then you MUST experience this restaurant in Darling
Harbour, Sydney.
The decor is great, but the thing which impressed me was the
HUGE BUDDHA at the entrance and open sitting in courtyard with the view of
darling harbor.
I went for a birthday dinner with a group of 15 and the
Malaysian food was fantastic and fairly priced (Price range: $0 - $27). You are
also paying for the view of Darling Harbour of-course :P
However, customer service was good, can’t say excellent.
This restaurant has authentic Asian food and appeals to us
as "keen & fussy consumers" of Malay style cuisine. The menu is
long & varied, if you're a lover of curries, laksa etc, you won't be
disappointed.

If you want great food and service in a funky restaurant for
a very reasonable price you must visit Chinta Ria. I would highly recommend
this place for couple, friends and family dinner. The ambiance is pleasant!
I give it a rating of 4 out of 5!
Chinta Ria also has a sister restaurant which I have yet to
explore: http://www.chintamoodforlove.com/
